STOMMPY is delighted to announce another obtained patent: the SMART pedestrian gate, an innovative system integrating the IoT technology to improve the industrial walkways' safety.
The SMART pedestrian gate is the result of the work of STOMMPY's R&D team: we developed a control system by integrating sensors able to communicate with the handling vehicles inside the plant. In this way, the gate is able to detect the close presence of a vehicle and automatically activate the electromagnetic lock, blocking the lock and regulating the passage of pedestrians to prevent potential accidents.
