Implementation of SOFTWARE and HARDWARE tools in the area of DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION in different business contexts
As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation and efficiency, STOMMPY S.P.A. has made a significant advancement on the path of digital transformation. This ambitious project saw the implementation of advanced software and hardware tools, fitting perfectly into the strategic vision of digitizing business processes.
At the heart of this initiative was the optimization of information flows, achieved by reducing paper use and decreasing processing times, resulting in lower operating costs. The centrality of data assumes a key role: the company restructured its corporate information system around an advanced ERP, based on SAP Business One, which guarantees high quality, flexibility and scalability.
Objectives and results of the Project:
- Optimization of Production Processes: Integration of production technologies with the company's management system has enabled constant monitoring of processing parameters. STOMMPY's new QC APP facilitates random quality checks directly on NC machines;
- Accelerated Decision Making: A dedicated dashboard, developed to be customized according to roles and needs, provides real-time visibility into key parameters, significantly improving decision making;
- Decentralization and Efficiency in Quotation: With the quotation APP, STOMMPY specialists can generate quotations directly in the field, reducing the workload of the quotation office and speeding up customer service;
- Integration and Production Management: Extending the integration of production management systems with the adoption of PLM software modules has improved the accuracy and detail of project management;
- Centralization of Technical Information: Processing and distribution of data sheets and catalogs have been centralized to reduce time, limit duplication risks, and manage information more effectively.
Through this project, STOMMPY S.P.A. not only strengthens its position as a leader in the industry but has enabled a significant step toward a more efficient and sustainable future and also lays the foundation for future innovations. The company will continue to work to stay at the forefront of digital transformation by continuously improving its processes and services.
