GRANT FUNDING FOR THOSE WHO INVEST IN SAFETY

Also for the year 2020, INAIL is making available grant funding for those who invest in worker health and safety.

INAIL-labeled financing covers 65 percent of the eligible investment, which corresponds to a minimum of €5,000 up to a maximum of €130,000.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCESSING FUNDING:

To qualify for Inail 2020 grants, enterprises must be registered with the Register of Enterprises or the register of artisans . The enterprise must be in the free and full exercise of its rights and in good standing with contribution and insurance obligations under the Durc.

THE PROCEDURAL PROCESS

In the case of the Isi Call for Proposals, the three-stage counter evaluation procedure applies, the dates of which will be published on the Inail portal by January 31, 2020.

Applications are registered and evaluated on the basis of chronological order of submission, with resources disbursed until the available funds are exhausted.

For the application to be eligible for evaluation, a minimum eligibility threshold of 120 points, defined on the basis of a number of elements-including company size, processing carried out, type of intervention, and sharing with social partners-to be highlighted in an information form that the applicant will access via the Web and in which data on the company and the project will be entered.

THE CLICK DAY AND THE "CHALLENGE QUESTION"

The topical moment and one that has been repeatedly criticized in the past is the so-called Click day, usually scheduled for the second half of June.

The chronological order of code entry will decide the ranking so it will be critical to be faster than others otherwise you will lose all access to funding.

CALENDAR ISI DEADLINES 2019

• Opening of the computer procedure for filling out the application: April 16, 2020
• Closing of the computer procedure for filling out the application: May 29, 2020
• Acquisition of ID code for online submission: June 5, 2020
• Notice regarding online submission dates: June 5, 2020

FOLLOW-UP CHECKS

Enterprises that have made it through the Click day will have to be careful to meet the timelines for subsequent fulfillments, including sending the documentation to complete the online application no later than 30 days after the one following the publication of the provisional lists, under penalty of forfeiture of the application, with another enterprise taking over that was previously ineligible due to lack of available resources.

THE TIMING OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

Finally, once the final lists are published, if the application is accepted, the financed intervention must be implemented and reported within 12 months from the date of receipt of the notice of successful verification, but it is possible to request a reasoned postponement of the deadline up to a maximum of 6 months.
