HIGH PERFORMANCE CEMENT - THE NEW STOMMPY CEMENT MORTAR ENHANCES THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SHOCKPROOF RANGE

From the ingenuity of STOMMPY's Research & Development division comes a product destined to elevate the quality and functionality of Shock Kits sold around the world.

When we talk about performance in the corporate environment, one of the concepts that most frequently comes up is that of teamwork; we talk about the usefulness of teamwork among colleagues, how much team building activities contribute to the achievement of goals, and so on. What is rather rarely explored, however, is teamwork among a company's products.

STOMMPY, with the development and production of its new cementitious mortar, wanted to explore this field, producing a product capable of completing and improving its already excellent range of impact-resistant products, increasing its fields of applicability and thus market opportunities. A champion, at the service of other champions: teamwork, indeed.

Cementitious mortar is one of the key elements of STOMMPY Shockproofing Product Kits, as it is through it that posts and guardrails are anchored to the ground with the FIXA Block System; the effectiveness of the entire safety and security systems therefore depends on its sealing performance.

That's why the R&D division went to work to create HIGH PERFORMANCE CEMENT, the most advanced version ever of STOMMPY cement mortar.

Compared with its predecessor, the new mortar has several improved features that define its value.

QUICKNESS:

HIGH PERFORMANCE CEMENT ensures faster setting times and smoother behavior in the change of state from liquid to solid, facilitating minor corrections in product placement when necessary. Above all, however, the best benefit remains the reduction in installation and product readiness time for the customer.

TEMPERATURE:

the temperature range of use of the new mortar is significantly wider than its predecessor; in fact, it can be used in applications down to -30°C. This feature makes STOMMPY shockproof products suitable for extreme environments, such as very cold countries or installations in cold storage and blast chambers. The creation of HIGH PERFORMANCE CEMENT also means that the more expensive and less high-performing resins used previously will not be needed for applications in low-temperature environments.

TRACKABILITY:

the red coloring is a strongly distinguishing factor of the product; a feature that assures the company, distributors and end users of security systems that they have been installed correctly, with STOMMPY cement mortar and not with another product.

WARRANTY:

compared to its previous version, HIGH PERFORMANCE CEMENT is offered to the market with a doubled warranty period, 1 year instead of 6 months. This means that all branches of STOMMPY, as well as all distributors, can stock the product for twice as long as before, without it being subject to any decay in performance and setting time.

The research and development path for the new product involved STOMMPY's collaboration with a partner mortar manufacturer, together with whom the company first formulated the new compound and then carried out a series of tests-including measuring setting times at low temperatures-until the desired performance characterization was achieved.

Subsequent pull-out tests, carried out within specialized laboratories, finally confirmed the mortar's superior tightness even at the mechanical level.

HIGHPERFORMANCE CEMENT is a CE-certified product, so it has a technical data sheet and a safety data sheet that make it fully suitable for marketing in Europe, as it complies with current regulations on cement mortars.
