SOLUTIONS

WALL PROTECTION

The walls continuously suffer surface and structural damage that in the long run compromises their appearance and condition.The protection of these areas in PLAC started from the prediction of the impact; in fact, in the corridors we installed Ø100 Single-Wire Shockproof Guardrail for impacts of less than 90°, while for the halls used for goods placement we installed Ø120 Single-Wire Shockproof Guardrail anticipating that we had to safeguard the walls from more important impacts.

LOADING BAY PROTECTION

Goods loading and unloading bays are structures designed and built to facilitate the operations of tipping trucks.

The new complex in PLAC provides a large loading/unloading area aimed at accommodating the large flow of vehicles.

In this case, we used the Shock Poles to safeguard any damage to the structures, along with a series of Aligners in the outdoor area to align the wheels of the vehicles in the most appropriate direction.

COLUMN PROTECTION

Pillars and columns are vulnerable elements within industrial establishments, as they are exposed to the impact of vehicles in general.

In this regard, we have protected the most sensitive corners with the use of Shockproof Poles and Shockproof Guardrails.

DOOR PROTECTION

Doors are another vulnerable element within an industrial facility if not properly protected.

We decided to install shock protectors dedicated to them in order to preserve them over time and guarantee the customer a reduction on their maintenance costs and production downtime caused by the inability to cross adjacent areas.

PROTECTION OF PEDESTRIAN AREAS

Wherever there is sharing of operational space between pedestrians and vehicles, there is an obligation to demarcate the operations of one and the other with suitable impact protection to ensure their safety.

PLAC achieved this goal by installing Pedestrian Handrails to protect the expected foot traffic from the offices to the loading bay and vice versa.
