S.M.A.R.T., STOMMPY'S SMART IMPACT PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY, WINS THE "ITALY TO COME" AWARD

With the awards event last Jan. 27, "L'Italia che verrà", the initiative promoted by UnipolSai to discover and highlight the most virtuous Italian companies, came to an end.

STOMMPY, thanks to the nomination of the S.M.A.R.T. technology, was awarded as the winning company in the 'Innovation' area.

That STOMMPY's S.M.A.R.T. technology represented a breakthrough in the field of occupational safety and impact protection was clear and obvious from the moment it was introduced, now more than a year ago.

Today, however, comes another important and very welcome confirmation from a company that has always been a bearer and promoter of innovation issues: UnipolSai.

In fact, STOMMPY won first prize in the "Innovation" category of "L'Italia che verrà - Storie di aziende che progettano il futuro," the initiative signed by UnipolSai that collected more than 70 stories of companies united, each in its field, by their attention to young people, investments in the territory and innovation.

Precisely in the latter area, which evaluated companies investing in the development of cutting-edge technologies with an eye toward the future, STOMMPY brought the experience of the S.M.A.R.T. project - Safety Monitoring & Active Reporting Technology.

The initiative's Jury, after careful analysis of the applications, proclaimed STOMMPY as the first prize winning company.

This was the motivation behind the award:

The S.M.A.R.T. project implemented by STOMMPY marks a breakthrough in the field of occupational safety., as for the first time, impact safety barriers are transformed from passive to active protection elements. With S.M.A.R.T, impact protectors can communicate via Wi-Fi, through a simple application that can be downloaded to any type of business device, their state of efficiency and defense from accidental collisions between goods handling vehicles.

The usefulness and innovative scope of this solution is unquestionable: S.M.A.R.T helps security managers monitor in real time the efficiency status of the bumper devices installed to protect the company's infrastructure and workstations. This makes it easier to plan product maintenance and/or replacement, quickly restoring original security conditions.

At the awards event, which was held on January 27 at the Unipol Group's Cube Business Museum spaces and streamed live, in addition to representatives of the award-winning companies, a number of guests, including Lucio Poma (Nomisma Chief Economist) and Claudio Domenicali (Ducati CEO), spoke.

For STOMMPY, Marco Chiarini, CEO of STOMMPY and co-creator of the S.M.A.R.T. project, Luca Gatti, Co-owner of the company, and Engineer Paolo Desiderioscioli, R&D Manager and coordinator of the project, collected the award.
