SVAT GROUP protects its new plant consisting of temperature-controlled warehouses
The project was designed to secure areas that differ in the type of vehicles passing through, elements to be protected, and the function of the protection itself.
CUSTOMER OBJECTIVES
- Protect doors, forklift charging areas, electrical panels, and escape routes subjected to risk of impact with goods handling equipment;
- Comply with all legal requirements for hygiene and safety in the work environment, in accordance with the highest standards in this area, applied by the Client;
- Dramatically cut maintenance costs in the company and ensure the fastest return on investment;
- Have a secure and guaranteed fastening system that will not damage the floor and will withstand both everyday impacts and severe accidents.
SOLUTION PROPOSED BY STOMMPY
After careful analysis of the types of handling present in the various departments, a technical solution was devised that could secure walls and access points characterized by a continuous flow of vehicles.
The choice of the most suitable impact protection is dictated by a scientific and objective method that considers 3 basic steps:
- Collection of mass and velocity data of transportation vehicles used in individual business areas;
- Calculation of the impact energies of the Client's vehicles, to identify the necessary level of resistance of the crash protectors to be applied.
- Selection of the most suitable type of impact protection for the client's purpose, in terms of energy resistance level and type and height of protection, in each individual area of the new extension;
